Project Runway: The Ruler of My TV Set

Guest written by our friend Clara Castro

It doesn't matter if it's a rerun that I've seen three times or a new episode, I'm going to watch Project Runway on my satellite TV that I got after seeing this Direct tv HD DVR Offers Information. It has the perfect mix of original, authentic characters, creativity, competition, and fashion without heading into the the typical reality TV pitfalls of hair pulling and drunkenness.

There's nothing more exciting than wondering what each of the designers is going to make each week and seeing how they take their visions all the way from a design to a full outfit. It's inspiring to see how creative they can be under such pressure, and you'd have to be crazy to not be impressed by their abilities to take crazy items, like food and coffee filters, and turn them into clothes that any woman would want to wear.

Of course, it has its share of drama too, but the producers and editors do an excellent job of not going overboard and making the show all about the drama. Designers accuse each other of cheating, they act like children even though they're adults, and they call each other the most childish names you can think of. It makes for great entertainment, but somehow, the designs still take center stage, and that's what really makes Project Runway special. It never loses its focus, and it's not your typical reality TV show by a long shot.
