Fever home remedy
I know most of the people are experiencing such fever. Although this is not life risk but its not always good if we are not physically feeling well. SO here, i'm going to share to you what i have search today about fever and its home remedies recommended. Thanks to the home remedies site too for giving more information about specific illnesses, its causes and of course, its remedies.
Fever Symptoms:
Rise in body temperature is the most common symptom of fever. Other symptoms of fever depend upon the underlying factors that cause fever. An oral temperature of 102 F should be considered fairly high. Hallucination, irritability and confusion may be caused due to high fever between 103 F to 106 F. Sweating, dehydration, headache, muscle aches, lack of appetite, burning eyes, general weakness and shivering are some other symptoms of fever.
Remedies for reducing body temperature:
Drink lots of water to compensate for the loss of body fluid. This will also help to reduce the body temperature. To immediately reduce high body temperature, boil powder of 2 to 3 tsp dry roasted fenugreek seeds. Strain the water and add a drop of ghee to it and drink. Drink juice made out of sweet basil leaves twice or thrice a day. Prepare linden tea by boiling 1 tbsp of linden flower in 1 cup of water and drink it hot. Brew willow bark tea and drink it by taking small sips. Willow bark has some aspirin related compound. If you are not comfortable with it then use black elder.
Remedy for Mild Fever:
If the fever is mild, lie on a bed and completely cover yourself with a blanket for 20 minutes. Crush 10 grams of raisins and ginger. Boil them in 200 ml of water till it reduces to 50 ml. Strain and drink this solution warm.

Home Remedies for Allergies
Allergies treatment using Nutrients
Certain nutrients have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of allergies. Often the intake of vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid brings great relief to the sufferer. This vitamin may be taken in a dose of 100 mg daily for a month. In such cases, liberal amounts of pantothenic acid helps even though the recovery takes several weeks. A dose of 400 mg of vitamin E taken daily for four to six weeks is also beneficial as this vitamin possesses effective anti-allergic properties.
Allergies treatment using Castor Oil
It is found that five drops of castor oil in half a cup of any fruit or vegetable juice, or plain water, and taken on an empty stomach in the morning, is beneficial for allergies of the intestinal tract, skin, and nasal passages.
Allergies treatment using Lime
Lime is considered an effective remedy for any kind of allergy. Half a lime may be squeezed in a glass of lukewarm water and sweetened with a teaspoon of honey. It can be taken once daily first thing in the morning for several months. This remedy not only flushes the system of toxins but also acts as an antitoxic and antiallergic agent. However, those who are allergic to citrus fruits should not take recourse to this remedy.

One or two bananas a day are useful for those who are allergic to certain foods and who consequently suffer from skin rashes, digestive disorders, or asthma, The fruit does, however, cause allergic reactions in certain sensitive persons and they should avoid it.

A quantity of 500 ml carrot juice or a combination of carrot juice with beet and cucumber juices, has been found beneficial in the treatment of allergies. In the case of mixed juices, 100 ml each of beet and cucumber juices should be mixed with 300 ml of carrot juice to prepare 500 ml or half a litre of mixed juice. This should be taken once daily.

Chafing Remedy
Chafing means soreness or irritation of the skin caused by friction. This friction may be caused due to rubbing of two body parts, clothes etc. People often experience chafing on the inner thigh, armpits, nipples, groin areas etc. Although anybody can have this problem, it is seen particularly in obese people and athletes.
The key to prevent chafing is to avoid sweating and friction between body parts. To do this try to keep yourself dry, put proper clothes; try to wear hundred percent cotton clothes etc. Try to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. This will allow you to perspire freely. Use talcum powder to stay dry. Always wear clean and dry clothes. Use petroleum-free and non-staining lubrication to prevent friction while walking, jogging or exercising. You can also use it on your feet, toes etc to avoid blisters.

Join Cook Off Event!
There is no denying of why everybody loves to eat seafoods. Because aside from the fact that they are delicious, seafoods are great sources of vitamins needed for our body too. For me, i personally don't take the vitamins as the advantage in eating seafoods but i just love it because they are so delish. num!
I love to cook and eat shrimp, crabs, salmon and mussels. Everytime we went to the grocery store i will make sure to buy enough seafoods to cook in a week. I don't even skip eating seafoods as long as i got something in the freezer to cook.
Anyway, since i am talking about seafoods here i would like to take this opportunity to let my readers know about the contest going on. Burns
Reduce the temperature of the burnt area
After a burn, the very first thing that you should do is to reduce the temperature of the burnt area. Put lots of chilled water or dip that body part into chilled water for 15 to 30 minutes.
Apply honey to the wound once you have washed the wound properly. It will prevent infection and will heal the wound.
Papaya contains enzymes that help to remove dead cells from the wound.
Aloe Vera is good for treating burns. Cut some fresh aloe Vera leaves and put it on the burnt area.Once the wound starts healing, break a capsule of vitamin E and pour the liquid on it. This will prevent scarring.
Applying lavender oil is also found to be effective for burns.
